In your Crystal Energy Box you'll find this incredibly useful Rose Quartz facial massage tool. Derived from Ancient Chinese Medicine, this tool has many benefits including:
- Increased circulation
- Relaxing clenched facial muscles
- Reducing fine lines, dark circles and puffiness
- Stimulating collagen production and improving skin elasticity
- Promoting lymphatic drainage and flushing toxins from your body
Read on for a step-by-step guide to using your new tool.
To maximize the benefits of this tool you'll want to have as little friction as possible. To do this, take a small amount of your favorite hydrating product (could be a serum, facial oil, moisturizer etc) and apply it to the area around your eyes. This will allow your eye soother to glide across your skin.
Step 2- Start Your Massage
Holding onto the smaller end of your eye soother, place the larger dome shaped face at the inner corner of your eye, and gently glide across the area below your eye to until you reach your temple. Use light pressure as you do this, as it is is a sensitive area and you don't need much. Repeat 5-7 times on each eye.
Step 3- Move To the Eyelid
Repeat the same motion as step 2 but start from the inner corner of your eye (near the bridge of your nose) and gently glide the tool across your eyelid stopping when you reach your temple.
Step 4- Drain That Lymphatic System
A clogged lymphatic system is likely the culprit for those pesky under eye bags we all seem to have from time to time. To reduce their appearance and overall swelling or puffiness in the face repeat the motion from step 2 (starting at the inner corner of your eye and moving to your temple). This time, don't stop at the temple but continue the motion down to the base of your neck. Repeat this 3-4 times above and below each eye.
Step 5- Release the Tension
We hold a lot of tension in the area between our eyes which can lead to fine lines, wrinkles and even headaches. To relieve some of this tension, hold your eye soother by the large end this time, using the smaller end to gently massage the area between the bridge of your nose and your eyes in a rolling 1/2 circle motion (somewhere near the inner end of your eyebrow).
Step 6- Don't Forget The Brow Bone
Similar to the area between our eyes, we tend to hold tension in the area just above our eyebrows. Holding onto the smaller end of your eye soother, roll the large end in a half moon motion across the top of your eyebrows starting on the inner end (near the bridge of your nose) and moving outward until you reach your temple). Repeat 3-5 times above each eye.
Step 7- Wrap It Up
To finish your routine repeat the motion from step 4 on each eye (both above and below and continuing to the neck) to encourage any remaining fluid to move away from your face. Make sure that you're only moving in one direction (out and down) to make sure things are flowing in the direction you want them to.
You can repeat this simple routine one or two times daily and see and feel results almost instantly. We hope this guide has been helpful and that your new eye soother has you glowing from the inside out!
